Tachionas

Tachionas (gr. ταχυς, tachys – greitas) – hipotetinė už šviesą greitesnė dalelė. Dauguma fizikų visgi mano, jog tokios dalelės negalimos, nes jų egzistavimas nesuderinamas su žinomais fizikos dėsniais. Jei tachionai visgi būtų eksperimentiškai aptikti, tai sukeltų nemažą krizę fizikos moksle.[1][2] 2011 m. CERN buvo stebėta lyg ir greičiau už šviesą skriejusi dalelė, tačiau vėliau buvo paskelbta, jog tai eksperimento klaida.[3]
